Getting Started with MyBookkeepingManager

The MyBookkeepingManager bookkeeping software application is intended to provide a simple solution for micro-businesses such as contractors and sole traders - freeing people up to concentrate on running their businesses rather than spending too much time carrying out bookkeeping / accounting tasks.

MyBookkeepingManager is not a full-featured accounting application like some of the solutions available on the market. Instead, the application concentrates on the requirements of many micro-businesses that have a single employee, and enables monthly sales and expenses to be quickly recorded. At-a-glance financial data such as the size of dividends that can be distributed to shareholders (particularly useful for IT contractors), the amount of corporation tax due (useful for anyone working through their own Limited company), and the amount of VAT due (for people using the Flat Rate Scheme). A large range of financial reports can be generated, which can be passed onto an accountant to aid with, for example, the preparation of end-of-year accounts.
